Innovations at Full Throttle for AIE at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2016
The 2016 theme for the Goodwood Festival of Speed has been announced as: Full Throttle –The Endless Pursuit of Power. As no stranger to the endless pursuit of power in the development of high-performance rotary engines, AIE (UK) Ltd will eagerly join the world’s most diverse and exuberant celebration of motor sport culture from 23 – 26 June 2016 to showcase the exciting future of high power-to-weight automotive rotary engines.
The UK based Goodwood Festival of Speed event which attracts tens of thousands of visitors, celebrity racing idols and international coverage reaching over 1.8 million fans will be the perfect environment for AIE (UK) Ltd who will be partnering with Westfield Sportscars and Axon Automotive on the Niche Vehicle Stand to showcase a Westfield High-Performance Sports Vehicle featuring the ultra compact AIE 650S rotary engine.
The completely innovative prototype sports car, with its lightweight carbon fibre structure will be on display for custom kit car fans and driving enthusiasts to view and witness how the latest cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities and unique patents are now able to produce a low maintenance rotary engine that is not only powerful, but clean, efficient and reliable.
With a history dating back to Norton Motorcycles and over 80 years experience of solving early rotary engine design issues, it’s no surprise that AIE finally hold the answer to your questions on how such a lightweight, ultra-compact rotary engine can deliver the power required for high performance sports vehicles.
